According to Bloomberg, Apple’s upcoming iPhone SE might be revealed “as early as next week” and released later in February. The new phone has already emerged in photographs and videos, and Bloomberg reports that Apple’s current iPhone SE inventory has begun to run short, all of which could indicate to a near launch.

According to Bloomberg, the next iPhone SE will resemble an iPhone 14, with a larger screen, the removal of Touch ID in favor of Face ID, and an A18 CPU capable of running the company’s Apple Intelligence capabilities. According to reports, the new phone will be the first from Apple to feature an in-house cellular modem. It will also include a USB-C connector, which means Apple will be able to sell the iPhone SE again in the EU.

That description generally corresponds to the photographs and video reportedly showing the upcoming iPhone SE from leaker Majin Bu. According to the sources, the next phone would also include a single back camera.

Bloomberg estimates the phone will cost “roughly $500.” That would make it more expensive than the 2022 iPhone, which costs $429.

Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Bloomberg reports that the business is “unlikely” to have a reveal event for the new phone and will instead unveil it on its website.

This year, Apple is also speculated to debut a thin iPhone nicknamed the “iPhone 17 Air,” while Bloomberg reports that the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro “will get major updates.”
